80 degrees 84% humidity

well it’s a hot son of a bitch today. it’s almost ten and it’s still 80 degrees with a humidity of 84%. i finally broke down and am running the air conditioner. when it’s this hot i have to. i mean, i’m all for saving the environment and conserving electicity and all that but . . . well it’s seriously hot here.
had a good day today. i got a good deal done at work this morning and then took a nap this afternoon. i think that it’s a good thing, especially on weekends, to keep things simple. it keeps me happier. i mean, pretty simple day that i had and it was wonderful. the highlight was making tuna salad.
last night i hung out my my friend, catherine, and her boyfriend, nick. it’s been at least a year since i hung out with nick. he’s a nice guy. they’re both just nice kids and it was fun to hang out with them.
