well, i had a meeting at work today and it looks like it isn’t as bad as i feared it might be. i think the nice way of phrasing what is happening is that for the time being i’m getting a raise without any increase in pay. i’m getting more work and more responsibility but not more pay. for now, i’m actually okay with that. the best part of my job lately is that i’ve had more to do. i’ve been on more projects and had more responsibility. i’ve been looking forward to work.
everyone has to work. everyone has to earn their meals and the roof over their heads. if you can manage to do that and really like what gets you there, you’re ahead in the game.
