testing apathy and coronal mass ejections

i’m cramming for a test that i have to take in just over an hour. out of the last 7 or 8 classes, i’ve been to three. i meant to go to more but stuff just kept coming up. one night i had a business meeting, two nights were when i was away on vacation, one night i got stuck at happy hour. these things happen. so i don’t know how well i’ll do on the test. i’m kind of having a hard time caring though. it’s in astronomy and i’m very interested in the subject but not the grade. i’ve actually read just about all of the book. i skipped some of the relativity stuff because i learned that in modern physics a few years back. i just need to pass to fulfil my last university requirement. beyond that, it’s just interesting.
my favorite topic in astronomy is the sun. i guess technically thats becoming kind of it’s own field inside of astronomy. i’m not really certain of all the politics. the sun is so interesting and well. . . it does make life possible. though we are a low point for solar storms there has been some big activity the last few days. take a look, it’s cool stuff. they have images of the large flare that erupted this week and also mention the coronal mass ejection associated with it. a coronal mass ejection sends a bunch of sun particles outward from the sun and in this case, they’re coming our way. our magnetosphere deflects most of this but when it happens, we’ll see disruptions in communications and other stuff.
so, i hope that i do okay on my test but instead of studying anymore, i think that i’ll go read up on the sun storms of the week.
