happy frigid morning

today i’m in a good mood. it just came on me while waiting in line for my medium sized black coffee and banana chocolate chip muffin. i’m not sure if the good groove came from the fact that i’d soon be drinking coffee or from the cheery woman behind the counter at d’brians, but whatever the cause, i’m wearing a smile.
i will admit that it’s pretty dang cold out, however. while i waited for the bus, it was -40 or -45 with the windchill. i brought out my big goofy hat this morning. come to think of it, that may be the cause of my good mood. i love wearing big goofy hats.
