irish drinking music to get me in the mood

i swear that work is going to turn me into an alcoholic.
not because it’s hard or stressful, which it is, but because they keep inviting us all out for happy hour. i’ve had three happy hours to go to this week alone. i could do that back in the day, when i was young and stupid. now that takes some effort.
so i’ve been listening to irish drinking music all afternoon to get myself in the mood. and i must admit that it is helping quite a bit. this evening i have a work sponsored happy hour as a goodbye party for a team member, then a birthday party at liquor lyle’s and then the turf club to see sally’s band and round out the evening. i’m driving tonight so i’ll not be too irish but i’m sure it’ll be a good night.
