boot liquor radio and an ice cold beer

well, it’s memorial day. i admit that doesn’t mean a lot for me. it means that i get the day off of work. and seeing as how i’ve admited to one dumb american fault (apathy at a holiday) i can admit to another. though i have the day off, i’m working both jobs today. yep. i went in to my mom’s office this morning and closed out the month. now i’m typing up and organizing some notes from a two hour meeting last week. although, i am listening to country music and drinking a nice cold beer. and let’s face it, work isn’t so bad under those conditions.
i put some new pics up yesterday. shots of the santa fe skies. they look a little light now though. looked great in photoshop. i think i need to further calibrate it or something. maybe i should actually learn what i’m doing. . .
well later, i got people coming over for the bbq thing. the sun is out right now and i’m kind of hoping it’ll stay out. it’s been raining for about a week straight. well it feels that way but it may have only been three days. anyway, i’m hoping for a good bbq. not sure how many people are going to show. it was kind of a last minute thing. well, if it’s small more beer and potato salad for the rest of us.
i gotta get back to typing up these notes so that i can go sit on the deck a while. my life is hard.
