sunday night wrap up

yep, it’s been a while since i posted. i’ve not done a good job this week. been a long week though. did a whole lot. wednesday, i didn’t get home until 10 pm and didn’t eat until then either. thursday, i put a bid in on a house, didn’t get home until 10:30 and then i had to clean out my car. friday, i found out that i didn’t get the house and i didn’t get home till around 3 am. so. . . i haven’t been sleeping enough either. been out and about. having a good time and running around.
saw a show at seventh street on friday. holloween alaska. pretty good. kind of mellow for my taste. i think it’s the kind of music that i’d like to listen to through headphones in a dark room laying on the floor. the kind of music that you can just sort of melt into and forget what is around you. if that’s what you’re looking for, i recommend it. becky took me to the show. that was fun because i was out with becky but also because she played with the band in feb so i got to meet everyone and people kept giving us stuff, drinks, cookies, that kind of thing. it was a fantastic evening.
right now, i’m listening to the nittty gritty dirt band and they’re singing about how hard it is to live without you. not sure who the you is in the song but it’s a good song. fitting my mellow mood this evening. i wish that i had some more of their albums but i only have one. shrug.
saturday was kind of a blah day actually. i didn’t do much of anything that i meant to. i ended up spending the evening on the couch. it was great in a stay at home and be a lump kind of way.
today i went shopping with marcia and bought some new clothes. i managed to find three pairs of dress pants. and finding three pairs of dress pants that i like and that fit is kind of a miracle. in addition i bought three shirts too. well, i was just going to get two, and i did but then i had an impulse buy on the way out of the store. it was a nice blue button down shirt with hidden buttons. kind of casual but i think i can get away with wearing it to work.
well that pretty much sums it up. i may have glossed over some parts but hey, that’s the way it goes and besides which, no one wants to read all the little details.
