boston and other points massachusetts

it’s been a good few days to be in massachusetts. the red sox are doing well. though i must admit the number of errors is a little disconcerting. last few days i’ve been in or around sunderland, which is really pretty but i haven’t really been able to take any pictures because my camera battery died and . . . well, it’s been cloudy and i’m more of a sunny picture kind of a guy. i’ll try to get some this morning before i leave town. i’m going to hang out in either northampton or hadley this morning. i’m not yet sure which. if you want to see some pics of sunderland. . . . take a look. those are from my trip last year.
so, i spent friday walking around boston. when i say i walked around boston, i mean it. i probably spent a good solid 6 hours just walking. i was out and about for 12 just scoping it out. when in boston, i usually spend some time walking along mass ave in cambridge. it’s kind of a hike but it’s a good walk. there’s something about the harvard campus that just makes me feel really good, really peaceful and happy. i’m not completely sure what it is. i was never a student there and never really wanted to be either. i think it’s just that i have really good memories of past trips to boston and hanging out up there.
anyway, it’s beeen a good trip. i’m looking forward to seeing my houes and all my friends back home. i hope that i’m not stuck on a plane with 30 or so eigth graders like i was on the way down.
