I’m traveling to Bangalore next week and I’m sure you’ve all seen on the news what’s been going on in that part of the world. Bangalore is fine so I’m not too worried but I’ve been seeing quite a few stories about epidemics breaking out in India so I figured maybe it’d be a good idea to update my immunizations since I’ll be there for two weeks. I found some thing neat for those times that you’re traveling to more “exotic locals.” The clinics that I use has a special travel clinic that you can go to. They do all the research on what vacinations you might need and make recommendations. They print it all up in a nice little packet that also contains general information on where you are going along with consular contact information. It’s a slick little deal. If you’re in Mpls, you can look into it. It’s at the Crosstown Fairview Clinic. Just thought I’d pass it along.
By the way, I now feel vaguely invincible. I am protected against: Hepititus A and B, Tetenus, Flu, Typhoid, Polio, and Malaria. I skipped shots for rabies and Japanese Encephalitus.
