in case anyone besides my grandma is reading this, i think i need to preface this with the fact that i live in minnesota. minnesota where a week ago it was negative forty degrees F with the windchill. negative, people. today it is positive forty degrees so i went out at lunch without a coat on and ran into something . . . odd.
there were four people on the corners at nicollet mall and 9th st wearing white jumpsuits with bikinis on over them. they were waving signs and protesting. . . overcoats. so when i walked by, without my coat on, i got cheers like, “way to be, brother!” “thanks for showing your support!” “be like that guy!” then one of them handed my a packet of cocoa with the following webaddress on it: www.fightbigovercoat.org

It’s good to see people out protesting things, especially things that others find confusing. It helps create confusion and leads people to ask why. Myself, i just think it’s amusing.
