one step closer

in the mail today, i recieved my copy of A Guide to Starting a Business in Minnesoata. it’s something that i’ve been talking about for a while. a buddy of mine and i, that is. and we keep getting closer. well, this is one step closer, i guess. i’ve only read the first 30 pages (it’s 325 pages total) but already i’m starting to get some more solid ideas.
everything is still at the planning stage. we need a plan. we need to draw things up, write them out and know where we’re going. once we know that, all that’s left is to go there. no problem, right? heh.
well seriously though, i think i have a skewed point of view on this one. both of my parents have their own businesses and where they don’t make it look easy, i firmly believe that i can do this. maybe i won’t make it right away, and i certainly don’t plan on quitting my day job soon, but i think that one day i’ll be my own boss.
until then, i guess i’ll keep whoring for corporate america. i’ve got good pimps so it’s cool.
