2 things: one bad, one fantasy

1. i forgot to take my antibiotics this morning. crap. i looked at the jar and thought, no i want to eat something first so i won’t take them just yet. then i thought, ok, but don’t forget. no no, i won’t. but i did. damn. oh well. i don’t like antibiotics anyway.
2. here’s my fantasy about my house. i have a kind of damp basement. many people do in MN, it’s common. in the summer then, i have to run a dehumidifier, which costs energy and leaves me with water to pour down the drain. i used to think it’d becool to filter that water and drink it but now i have a better idea. i’d like to install solar panels on my roof and instead of having a battery storage system, i’d use the water from the dehumidfier to make hydrogen. i’d use the hydrogen in fuel cells to run the house when there wasn’t enough sun. good god, that’d be sweet. way more expensive that the power company but wouldn’t it be neat to be self sufficient?

I use my dehumidifier water for watering the few plants that I care about outside. This, don’t have to pay for the water in the first place, and since I’m not dumping it down the drain I’m not getting charged sewer fees either…
