dreamy mc dreams a lot how can it be any different?
yeah i’m sitting here in california and it’s warm winter there’s nothing to complain about there’s no hardship there’s no nothing no nothing
life is a dream that’s the way it is the way i see it life
dream
i’d like to say here’s what it is i’ve got it figured
but i don’t and it’s better this way it’s better it’s a better walk under the live oaks in savannah, ga just waiting for that sun to set
life is a dream the dream right before you wake up in a strange hotel room around the country life is that dream it’s foreign it’s strange, alright
i’d like to pretend it’s different but it’s not this dream is everyday for everyone look out, you’ll see what i see
harvard square in the rain waiting for your cup of gourmet tea the boats waiting not far away you wondering where to next? jacks? perhaps.
life is this dream life is this movement one state to another one record, 45 or 78 a flick of the lever
east west both, butterfield blues band playing round and round
round and round, my pretnsions pretending i know this or that but really i just want to listen to the who over again four speakers
life from the four speakers there’s more here and less it’s just a matter of the dream where it begins where it ends but mostly where it takes you.
