stung by a bee

yesterday i was stung by a bee at the rose gardens (i should have probably been more suspecting). i haven’t been stung by a bee since i was maybe 12. here’s the thing i forgot. bee stings hurt a lot. it doesn’t stop stinging. i iced it all night and even this morning it still stings a little bit. so the next time you see me flailing my arms and running around like a scared little girl, listen for the sound of a bee, that’s probably what did it. probably.

Sorry about your bee sting - I’ve had them. Since you were so close at the Rose Gardens, why did’nt you come to my house and I would have put on a paste of soda and water? That is an “old cure.” And, I would have given you love and lemonade!! Hope you feel better. Hope to see (or hear from) you soon. Grandma Barb
