i seem to have touched a nerve the other day on my st paul vs. minneapolis comment. no disrespect meant towards minneapolis. i’ve lived there most of my life. perhaps i shouldn’t have repeated what i heard. however, i think that st paul doesn’t get it’s fair due. and i’ll be honest, now that i live here, i do like it better. there’s a feeling here that well. . . just makes you feel at home.
last night becky and i watched kiss kiss bang bang. i very much liked it. basically it’s a dective-y film noir kind of movie. i’ve always loved those kinds of stories. but it also has the rambling fast paced narration of Robert Downey Jr. and the special kind of sarcasm that only Val Kilmer can do. Plus there are a number of grammar jokes if you pay attention.
