20080226 - Buk’s isn’t where I left it

I’ve been to Bukowski’s tavern before but this isn’t where I left it. Different inside too. More like how Buk would have wanted it, darker, dirtier though the beer is way to expensive, even for Boston. So I sit here with “drink in hand” (as Buk would say, as it says on the wall) and try to figure it out. Ah! Lookit that coaster! There are two of ‘em. I like this one better (Back Bay). The other one feels more like a cafe. This has a nice long bar and a seedy little mensroom. Nice.
