20081129 – first hat

this is actually my first completed knitting project. i’m still working on my scarf (i made it way too wide). i made this hat for becky for our anniversary. we’ll just pretend there is some cotton in the yarn used. i’m pretty proud of it actually. the part at the top where i reduced it, isn’t as clean as a pro would have done but for a first effort, i think it turned out pretty well. the ribbing at the bottom (which you can’t see in this photo) turned out well too.
yay for learning new skills.
