20090629 – dave and al get married!

spent the weekend in eau claire, wi for dave and al’s wedding. becky was the pianist for the ceremony which was fun for me because i don’t get to see her perform on the piano that often. plus, ran into an old friend who was doing the videography and helped him set up. he had four cameras spaced around the church all controled by a single board and recording to four laptops. each camera was operated by a joystick. it was kind of over the top but a fun set up.
the wedding and reception were beautiful and we got to see old friends and make new ones. i ate way too much food. . . .
when we came back into town on sunday we went to becky’s grandma’s 90th b-day party. 90, that’s an achievement. i hope i make it to 90. grandma is doing well and had a good time seeing everyone. the we rushed off to priya’s graduation party, which turned out to also be kind of an engagement deal too. yay for jon and priya! i ate way too much food here too. but come on . . . not often do i get to have home made indian food. . . .mmmm. i vowed that i would eat chicken tikka until i was uncomfortable and i am a man of my word.
nice weekend. now back into the workweek. . . .
