20090930 – cathedral at night

went for a walk last night and took a few night shots of the city with my phone. so quality isn’t great but gives you a sense of the feeling of the evening. on the horizon here you see the cathedral in st paul. i don’t think i’ve ever actually been inside but it sure is pretty all lit up at night.
as i posted last night, i think this weekend (weather permitting) i’ll take a walk from my house to highland park and meet becky when she get’s off from work. it’s only about 7 miles so that’s not really too far. funny, i’d go for a seven mile hike out in the woods without thinking too much about it but at first the thought of walking to highland just seemed silly, seemed far. eventually i’d like to walk to my mom’s house in edina. that’s about fifteen miles. seems like i might want to work up to that one a bit but i should be able to do seven without too much difficulty.
well, on to the work day. . . .
