20100906 – Socks!

Our really great neighbors gave us these socks the other day. We admired them while over at their place and their mom brought some for us on her last trip from Japan. Isn’t that nice? It is wonderful to live in a neighborhood where you know your neighbors. I brought them some soup and a study guide just now. I loaned another neighbor my lawnmower and he hooked me up with some great new frames for my glasses. On the other side, we stopped to talk home repair for a bit this morning.
I guess what I’m saying is that for the first time I feel like I live in a community and that is a good feeling.
